All of these photos were taken in March 1999 at Habitat for Humanity's Jimmy Carter Work Project. Indianapolis Life sent about 30 employees and we build three homes there for three Filipino families.

Babylynn (left) and Angie on the work site in the Philippines. Babylynn's 6 other brothers and sisters and parents will live in one of the homes we're building.

This is Marissa and Arlito, their daughter Catherine and Marissa's mother (left) in the home they live in now. They will soon move into their new Habitat home and are very excited!

Isaiahville is the name of the small community that we helped build last March. The community is made up of about 130 Habitat for Humanity homes. This is a view of a typical street during the construction process.

Roof truss going up early one morning. We did this before the sun got too hot!

Workers carrying the sheet metal that we nailed onto roof. This reflected the heat away from the house but was hot to work on!

Shot taken from the roof overlooking the construction site. As you can see lots of volunteers making it happen.

This is a picture of a finish house that we helped build. It's important to know that we worked right along side the Filipino family. THey worked harder than anyone. The homes were very small and made of concrete block.

This is Adela and Jessie Badenas working on their home and putting the finishing touches on their cinder block.
